Doctor Who Has A New Companion

Everyone meet Samuel Anderson. According to the BBC's website, he's going to be a recurring character during this next season with Peter Capaldi as the latest Doctor incarnate and Jenna Coleman as the female companion we've already been traveling with.

According to the BBC, "Anderson will play Danny Pink, a teacher at Coal Hill School where companion Clara Oswald (Jenna Coleman) also teaches."

As long time fans might recognize, Coal Hill School has become a piece of history in the Who-verse. It's the school where the first Doctor found teachers Ian Chesterton and Barbara Wright. And now Clara Oswald (Coleman's character) teaches in the latest season.

Anderson says, "It’s a quintessential part of British culture and I can’t believe I’m part of it. It’s an honour to be able to work alongside Peter Capaldi and Jenna Coleman and I can’t wait to show people how my character becomes involved with such a fantastic duo!’"

Can't wait to see what's in store this year with another new companion!
